Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters
A wave of low pressure moves over the region today with scatteredshowers and potentially strong thunderstorms that could threaten thecoastal waters. Seas and winds remain relatively calm with speedsless than 10 knots and wave heights less than 3 feet. Quiet weatherreturns with high pressure on Tuesday followed by a low passingoverhead on Wednesday which brings showers and thunderstorms. Highpressure and quiet weather returns Thursday and Friday.
